And I feel like walking the world

Well, that could have been worse. I like my results.
My dad was supposed to take me out today and teach how to drive manual transmission, but he forgot, and had to go to work today, and called me like, an hour before our date to say, "Yeah, I'm in Philadelphia..." Lol. Good job, Dad. And you get mad at me because I don't call you often enough. Hypocrite.
Whatever. So now my mom wants to have a girls' night. So we're gonna make spaghetti and watch a movie or something. And talk. Probably stuff I don't want to talk about, like how much my brother and sister screw up (sibling code of honor: you do not rag about your sibs to your parents. It's like talking about your friends behind their backs - extremely awkward and uncool. Mom doesn't get this though, and wants me to agree with her about my sister and her cheerleader personality, and my brother getting kicked out of school. Yeah, they screwed up. I'd rather focus on the fact that they're still good kids, especially my brother, who I will defend to the death, than listen to her harp about them some more. Okay, this sentence is extremely off track. Closing parentheses - now!), and whether I still like girls (um... yep. Still like girls. Still working for a gay rights place next year. Still like my gay friends), and whether I want kids or not (my mom WANTED to be a homemaker. Still wishes that's all she did. Gag me with a SPOON before that's my life), and maybe a little bit about how broke we are, despite our big house and the remodeling stuff we keep doing (if we're that broke, STOP SPENDING MONEY! How hard is that?), just for fun.
Oh yeah. I love mother/daughter time these days.
I also want my brother to come back from New York and go see Clerks 2 with me, because he offered back when it came out, and no one else seems to want to go. It is a rather specific brand of humor, so I understand, but... I want to see it!
Also, today marks two weeks left of work. I'm gonna miss it, but it'll be nice to have it out of the way, as well. If I don't get an internship or something next year (though I really hope I do), maybe I'll go back next summer.
I've been listening to a lot of K.T. Tunstall lately. Not just "Black Horse," either. "Suddenly I See" is extremely happy making. Except for the way she says "calm" and "palm." She still rhymes them, but it's weird. Like a southern "a" or something. Instead of an "ah" it's more of an "eh." No, that's not it. But it's weird, anyway. And she's what, Scottish? Irish? I forget, I've only heard her speak like, once.
And if anyone's free in the next few days, the Howard County Fair is going on. It's not spectacular, but I like it. I suppose if you like cows, it's probably fantastic, but I like the exhibit halls and the goats. And there are rides, and pit beef. Okay, yeah, I like the cows, too. They're cute. And if you go during the day, there are horse shows.
