Really? People don't know how to do this?
As a Marylander, I find this absolutely mind boggling, but I guess that's the point of the note at the top. The comments are also kind of funny, because they fucking boil the shrimp around Louisiana and Texas, and that's just wrong, but apparently they think we're just as weird for steaming them. Someone mentioned beer, like a good Marylander, and someone else found Old Bay in the "ethic" section of their grocery store. I've never seen one of those, but I wonder what else is in that section? Internationally, finding Old Bay might be challenging, but I think it's nearly everywhere in the US these days. I've never had problems finding it, anyway, in a bunch of different states throughout the Midwest and Texas.
/Maryland rant over.
I don't have the energy to do a real Dell rant, but when I tell you the backlight is out, believe me. Also, no, I don't want to extend my warranty right now, and I really don't want to hear about it four different times. Why did that take 45 minutes?
My old laptop, which I never got around to selling, is working as a backup, but Jesus, this is not a good computer. It overheated and died just because I was watching a movie (a movie on my harddrive, not even using the CD drive). I'm not sure the fan is working. Probably because it worked so hard for so long. My ex-roommate thought it was a hairdryer one time. It also just... looks old. Maybe it's the silver color and clunky keys. It's also a lot smaller than my new laptop. I remember thinking my new one was huge, so this is just the reverse, but it's still funny. Anyway, I have access to music and the internet, so I guess I just won't watch movies on my computer until I get my new one back. That's what my TV is for. Only legal media for Korey for the next while.
Also, wtf, MJ and Farrah in the same day? I didn't give a damn when my friend told me about Farrah, but Jackson? That's kinda sad. Like a lot of people tonight, I am playing him for the rest of the night.
I have been enjoying cooking so much. Everyone came over last night to make crepes, and we had nutella, and whipped cream, and melted chocolate, and raspberries, and strawberry jam. Crepes = deliciousness.
And now I think it's time for Crepes II: The Return of the Leftover Batter and Fillings. Only two of the original six cooks remain. Can they eat all of the crepes themselves? Or will the crepes win?
