Patrick Wilson (aka Nite Owl II from Watchmen, aka Joe Pitt from Angels in America) is my new actor boyfriend.
There's a special feature on the Watchmen DVD where they're talking about how they made Archie (his ship). And Wilson's talking about how he wanted to know what he should be pushing when, so he didn't look like he was randomly hitting buttons. The director (Zack Snyder) at one point leans over and tells him one lever in particular has to be the thrust, because he has to use it in the Antarctica scene, and Snyder demonstrates by pulling back on the lever.
Wilson's response is, "Oh. That's weird. In the Millennium Falcon, they push it down to go forwards."
Snyder jokes that that's fake, and what they're doing is real, but I don't care, because I <3 Patrick Wilson.
While I'm talking about geeks I love, ( Big Bang Theory. )
