never just an ordinary girl
Sep. 5th, 2007 10:25 amSo I already love my geology class. I've heard Craddock is crazy, but he said he graduated from Mac way back when, so I guess it all fits. He held class for twenty minutes today before letting us out, and most of that time was spent talking about field trips and how he used to get beat up as a TA at grad school for not signing off A's on the football kids' lab grades. He also told us the real name for our class was neither Physical Geology nor Dynamic Earth and Global Change, but rather Rocks for Jocks. Barely a step up from Dinosaurs or Oceanography, and just like Con Con is Physics for Poets.
But the coolest thing was that we're taking field trips this semester. Over J-term, geology and poly sci are going to Cyprus, which is neat, but I won't go to that. But cooler is that geology and PHYSICS are going to northern Minnesota in a few weeks to go see the neutrino detector in that mine up there! Yay, science!
I'm going. Who else is in?
